What skills and experience we're looking for

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join our vibrant and high-achieving English department at Leigh Academy Mascalls. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to become part of a supportive team and contribute to our students' academic success and personal growth.

As an English Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across all key stages, fostering a love for literature and language in our students. You will be an integral part of a department known for its collaborative spirit and innovative teaching practices. We are committed to the professional development of all staff and have an active, supportive team who helps each other succeed.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a genuine passion for English. You should have a strong subject knowledge and a proven ability to deliver excellent teaching. We welcome applications from both newly qualified teachers (NQTs) and experienced professionals.
