This post is open to English teachers of all levels of experience. The English teaching team at The Whitstable School comprises of the top talent with graduates from Oxbridge and Russell Group universities. There is a great blend of experienced teaching staff and those being mentored in their Early Career stage, with all of the team open to new ideas. We work hard, play hard and understand our purpose is to develop young people who enjoy reading, communicate effectively and secure the best grades at GCSE and A-Level.
Following a well-designed programme of review and CPD, the team has a clear direction in developing our Curriculum and teaching craft. You will find the right balance of challenge and support; you will think hard about our amazing subject but be guided with clear leadership which focuses effort in the most impactful areas.
