Abbeyfield School are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of English who is passionate about delivering outstanding learning experiences and helping students achieve academic success. You will be committed to high standards, have strong subject knowledge, and possess the ability to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Our Ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status and a good honours degree.
  • Classroom Practice: Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4.
  • Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Student Progress: Experience using data, target setting, and curriculum innovation to improve outcomes.
  • Inclusive Education: A commitment to inclusive education and ensuring every student can succeed.
