The successful candidate will work collaboratively alongside the English and Drama teams to deliver strong outcomes for all our students and will play a key role in shaping the future success of our students.

We require a qualified Drama or English Teacher who is able to teach some English/Drama.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a highly collaborative and innovative team of teachers. The English and Drama departments, both have created a mutually supportive culture and greatly enjoy working together. Our curriculum is rich in high quality, challenging literature from across time and across the world. Lessons in English aim to encourage independence, enquiry, creativity and academic rigour. Speaking and listening is at the centre of students’ daily classroom experience and lessons always provide opportunities for discussion and debate. We place a strong emphasis on creating fun, memorable learning experiences for our students and aim to support students to achieve outstanding results. Come and join us on our journey.

At Key Stage 4 all students study English Language and Literature. We currently offer English Literature A Level at Key Stage 5, and are looking to also offer English Language A Level in the near future. We currently teach Drama at KS3 and KS4.

We are looking to recruit a full time Teacher of English and Drama who will join a highly skilled, energetic and passionate team, teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will be confident to deliver content at Key Stages 3 and 4 and will ideally have some experience of English Literature at Key Stage 5. They will be a student-centred teacher who is dedicated and will build positive relationships with our amazing young people so that they can inspire a love of learning and a passion for English and Drama both in and outside of the classroom.
