THE ROLE
Fakenham Academy & Sixth Form seeks to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic English teacher to join our English Department to teach English throughout the Academy. This is an opportunity to join a welcoming, strong department. The successful candidate would be required to start in post in September 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
The successful candidate should be committed to supporting our students to ‘be the best they can be’ whilst being a highly motivated and enthusiastic English teacher with a genuine passion for their subject. They will demonstrate a clear understanding of effective teaching and learning strategies and have the ability to deliver outstanding outcomes for students up to Key Stage 5. This role offers the opportunity to join a supportive, dedicated and highly professional team.
Our English Department embodies a strong culture of collaboration, high expectations, and the open sharing of ideas, with staff working closely together to support one another.
