Teacher of English job summary

Cobham Free School wish to appoint a well-qualified, dynamic individual as a Teacher of English. The position is part time (from 3 days a week) commencing in the Autumn Term 2025, however full time would also be considered.

The English and Drama Department is a supportive team of ten members of staff. In our latest public examination result, the Department achieved a fantastic 99% pass rate at GCSE level. Our A level cohort is small and we are keen to grow this, however teachers can enjoy the benefits of small groups.

ECTs are most welcome to apply, we are experienced in offering dedicated support in conjunction with a successful local partnership. Experienced teachers can grow their career in a supportive and innovative environment.
