About the Role: 

 

As our new Teacher of English, you will: 

  • Design & deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages 3–5 that spark a love of language and literature; 
  • Guide exam preparation through engaging revision sessions, formative assessments and constructive feedback; 
  • Track and celebrate progress, tailoring strategies to help every student flourish; 
  • Collaborate across the department, co-creating schemes of work, sharing resources and championing best practice; 
  • Support students’ personal growth as a tutor, fostering well-being, confidence and a sense of belonging. 

 

Who We’re Looking For: 

  • A strong knowledge of the National Curriculum with the ability to teach up to A-Level; 
  • Excellent communication, organisational and ICT skills; 
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to continuous professional development; 
  • A team player who builds positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues; 
  • Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people; 
  • Strong interpersonal and data management skills.
