What skills and experience we're looking for
We seek to appoint a dynamic and motivated Teacher of English with an infectious passion for the subject to join us on a fixed-term basis to cover maternity leave.
You will be part of a team supported by skilled and expert teachers and will receive excellent support and opportunities for development within the academy and across the trust.
To be successful, you must be confident in the delivery of English at KS3 and KS4 and have the ambition and dedication to continue to support the development of the curriculum and wider curriculum in line with current practice and research in effective teaching.
You will be able to support the promotion of excellent standards of student learning, achievement, progress, attainment and behaviour through working effectively and collaboratively. Passionate about your specialist subject, you will recognise the importance and impact that this area of the curriculum has on a student's wider life and on their future destinations and career prospects as English permeates the whole national curriculum and life.
