We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about English, to join a thriving and highly successful English Department on a temporary contract to cover maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic teacher of English, who can deliver outstanding lessons across the ability range, to join our warm and supportive school which was continued to be rated ‘good’ by Ofsted in November 2024.

The Burgate School and Sixth Form converted to a Single Academy Trust in May 2011. We are a popular, Hampshire school, situated in expansive grounds on the outskirts of Fordingbridge in Hampshire, providing high quality comprehensive education for children aged between 11 and 18.
