Job overview
We are looking for a dedicated Teacher of English to join our team in Oldham. You’ll possess energy, enthusiasm and desire to inspire a love of English. You will be responsible for delivering English lessons in line with relevant curriculum requirements, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning are maintained, whilst collaborating with the wider English faculty to sustain and raise class achievement to an outstanding level.
The right candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
- Relevant specialist qualifications and subject experience (e.g. BA Hons. degree in English)
- Understanding of curriculum requirements for English
- Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
- Understanding of how to implement assessment methods for differentiated learning strategies
