Teacher of English (part-time) job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and outstanding English department as a part-time teacher
The Role
This is a part-time role, 0.5 FTE. Days of work will be discussed with the successful candidate.
The vacancy is available from 24 February 2025, however, we would consider an April 2025 start date.

Our School
Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl’s Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2024.

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful comprehensive school for girls aged between 11 and 18. The school has expanded in recent years, is popular in the local community, and has a growing Sixth Form. Our school is a welcoming environment, which, paired with high standards, delivers an excellent education for our students. Our buildings that range from a traditional main block to much more recent buildings contain specialist science labs, sports hall, dance and drama studios, music rooms and STEM workshops.
