Teacher of English (potential KS4 postholder) job summary

George Salter Academy is a friendly, happy and vibrant 11-18 academy, serving a multi-cultural community and we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of English on a 12 month maternity cover from January 2024. A TLR (2b - £5,028) for the position of KS4 postholder could also be available for an exceptional candidate.

The successful applicant will be able to deliver high quality teaching and learning and have a clear focus on the achievement of young people.  The post would be an excellent opportunity for either an ECT or an experienced teacher.
