We are looking to recruit a good or outstanding teacher to join our team supporting our vulnerable pupils. Our young people have typically experienced emotional turmoil and disrupted learning, and need your help to reengage in education and make accelerated progress. Could you work creatively to help a young person to become the best version of themselves?
The ideal candidate will be a qualified teacher able to demonstrate:
• Secure and current subject knowledge, including examination requirements;
• A secure understanding of how a range of factors can inhibit pupils’ ability to learn, and how best to overcome these;
• A clear understanding of how to adapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils to maximise progress and achievement;
• Resilience and trauma informed practice.
Our staff may be based at any of our five provisions.
