Teacher of English job summary

The Kibworth School is looking to appoint an engaging, enthusiastic and highly-skilled teacher to join our committed team of specialist staff in the English Department. This role is perfect for a teacher who is dedicated to working in a team to achieve success. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to teach a challenging Key Stage 3 curriculum, as well as GCSE English Language and Literature. Applicants should be passionate about teaching English, able to encourage and engage our students and demonstrate excellent classroom skills. They should also be committed to improving the literacy and reading skills of our students. The position is permanent and part-time. The post is suitable for NQTs and for more experienced colleagues who apply, an opportunity for additional responsibility is available which would attract a TLR payment.
