All students take English Literature and English Language at GCSE and many go on to study English Literature or English Language & Literature at A-Level.

This is an opportunity to join our outstanding, high performing, English Team. We are looking for someone who can teach English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE. There may also be opportunities for candidates with suitable experience to teach A-Level in our highly successful Sixth Form. The ability to teach Drama at Key Stage 3 would be advantageous. This post is suitable for experienced candidates who are looking to work with an outstanding team; or for Newly Qualified Teachers. As a lead partner in the East Midlands Teacher Training Partnership, and an early adopter of the Early Career Framework, we are well placed to support teachers at the start of their career.

If you have a passion for teaching English, then we want to hear from you. You will be part of the English Faculty and you will be working with a team of professionals who have an excellent track record of success and focus relentlessly on ensuring that students enjoy learning and make outstanding progress. As part of East Midlands Education Trust, there will also be the opportunity for you to learn from the very best and prepare you for the next stage of your career.
