Are you an ECT looking to start your career as an English Teacher?
If so, we have a rare and exciting opportunity for a position at our new Promise School. The new Promise School will be a special free school opening in September 2022! At full capacity, the school will cater for 100 children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. The designated age range is 4-16. The school will also transition into a state of the art, purpose-built accommodation by September 2023.
We are looking to recruit a highly enthusiastic ECT who is passionate about SEMH and SEND and would like to start their career in a brand-new special school where you will be fully supported by the senior team and the wider MAT.
The expectation will be that your subject area will only be split for early days of school. In year 1, the successful candidate will teach both their primary subject and the additional subject at KS3.
Our teachers must possess the skills and understanding to accelerate the progress and raise the achievement of all our children. They should be excellent classroom practitioners who are committed to providing high quality learning experiences for all children, possess high levels of emotional intelligence and a desire to continually improve their practice.

We are a brand new school which opened in September 2018 for reception aged children. As each year passes, we will grow incrementally year on year until we eventually reach our capacity of 420 pupils. Our Nursery opened for children aged 2, 3 and 4 years in September 2019.
