What skills and experience we're looking for

Boston Spa Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleague to the role of Teacher of English with A Level Literature. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and inspiring students in A Level English Literature, as well as teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 students to achieve their full potential.

The ideal applicant will have:

• A successful record of teaching with very good exam results at one or more of KS3 & KS4.
• A successful record of teaching with very good exam results at KS5 English Literature or very strong subject knowledge and background in English Literature with the propensity to teach the subject at A Level.
• A detailed knowledge of current developments in education including the use of the Pupil Premium
• The ability to put vision into practice.
