What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding English teacher to further strengthen an already thriving English faculty. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to become Head of PSHE and SMSC across the academy. Applications are invited from inspirational classroom practitioners and leaders who have a proven track record of excellent outcomes and are passionate about delivering exciting, innovative and engaging English lessons that allow all students to achieve their full potential. Applications are also welcome from ECTs. We will provide excellent professional development and support for any ECT if successful.

Furthermore, if you are an excellent English teacher looking for career progression, you are also invited to demonstrate your passion for embedding the principles of PSHE and SMSC within school life. The role includes developing our comprehensive and thoroughly planned PSHE and SMSC curriculum and leading a team of PSHE and SMSC teachers and form tutors to ensure students personal development is incredibly well supported.
