What skills and experience we're looking for

From September 2023, we seek to appoint 2 exceptional practitioners with the ability to teach all aspects of English from Years 7-11, to inspire and enthuse young people to develop a love of English. There is a possibility that one of the posts may attract a TLR2A for Second in Dept (or Assistant Subject Leader). Candidates must have an up to date knowledge of developments in English, and deliver learning which promotes student progress and high expectations for all abilities. The attainment and progress of students in English at CCC is consistently above the national figure because every child is challenged to achieve their full potential. The post would equally suit a Newly Qualified Teacher or experienced teacher.

A DBS disclosure is required for this post as is the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.
