The Role
The English Department is highly successful and forward-looking. It has a major influence on developments in the school as a whole, contributing to it originally being selected as part of our specialist school status.
We have an Assistant Head of Year vacancy which can be combined with this Teacher of English vacancy. Please be clear in your application if you are also applying for in the Assistant Head of Year role.

Our School
Carshalton High School for Girls, a member of the Girl’s Learning Trust, is a high achieving school in the suburbs of south London. Confirmed as “Good” by Ofsted in January 2023, we achieved our best exam results to date in Summer 2024.

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful comprehensive school for girls aged between 11 and 18. The school has expanded in recent years, is popular in the local community, and has a growing Sixth Form.
