Teacher of English x 2 job summary

Priory School in Lewes, East Sussex are recruiting two well-qualified, talented, committed and inspiring teachers of English on a temporary basis from 1st September 2021. The full-time vacancy is temporary until 31st August 2022 and the part-time vacancy is 0.6 FTE, temporary cover for the duration of a maternity leave.

The successful applicants will have:
 A commitment to high expectations, with the ability to inspire and challenge students.
 Develop targeted learning resources to support the diverse make-up of the student body.
 A proven track record of impacting upon students' learning.
 The ability to teach English at KS3 and KS4.
 A clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments.
 Excellent interpersonal skills.
 The attributes to be a strong form tutor.
 Qualified Teacher Status.
