What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governing Body and Headteacher of Holy Family Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspirational, creative teacher who is passionate about teaching in Early Years.
We are hoping to appoint a teacher who lives and breathes Early Years and is passionate about nurturing young minds.
We are looking for a teacher who:
- is a practising Catholic or someone who will strongly support the Catholic ethos of the school
- has an obvious passion to teach EYFS and a love of learning through the EYFS lens
- has high expectations for all pupils in both behaviour and attainment and is committed to working with parents, other staff and external providers to ensure all children thrive.
- challenges and motivates all pupils to raise achievement from their unique starting points
- has a good understanding of the National Curriculum with a passion for developing their own expertise and the expertise of other staff
- has some subject leadership experience and able to demonstrate a desire to lead a subject (for those who are not an ECT)
- is a team player and excellent communicator, with good organisational, written, numeracy and interpersonal skills
- enables children to learn through a creative delivery of the curriculum
- will become fully involved in the wider life of the school
- has a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
