Teacher of Food Technology and DT job summary
We are recruiting for a Teacher of Food Technology and DT based here at Barnes Wallis. To be responsible for the learning and achievement of al pupils in ensuring equality of opportunity for all and being accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct.

Who we are looking for
Qualified Teacher Status
Relevant Subject Degree or Equivalent
We are looking for someone who has GCSE/ NVQ level 3/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
Experience working in an educational setting
Previous experience using Microsoft Office and able to produce, create and edit documents using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
You must have experience of working in a school and administration team
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work across a range of challenging issues and people including parents/carers, scholars, staff and members of the wider community.

We are pleasantly situated within the villages of Coningsby and Tattershall and our aim is to be the heartbeat of these villages. Our size undoubtedly helps to create a strong feeling of togetherness that contributes to the ease of relationships between students, parents and staff.
Barnes Wallis Academy has excellent facilities that all our students benefit from. We have well resourced classrooms and specialist teaching rooms. In addition we have four ICT suites and extensive sports facilities.
