2. Develop pupils' knowledge and skills in food preparation, nutrition, healthy eating, food hygiene and safe working practices.

3. Create meaningful opportunities for pupils to achieve recognised qualifications and develop skills that support their future education, training and employment.

4. Adapt teaching to meet individual learning needs, including those of pupils with SEND and social, emotional and mental health needs.

5. Build positive, trusting relationships that encourage engagement, resilience and a sense of achievement.

6. Maintain a safe, well-organised and inspiring practical learning environment.

7. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support pupils' personal development, wellbeing and successful next steps.

About you

4. Is creative, flexible and able to adapt teaching to engage pupils with diverse learning needs.

5. Understands the importance of positive relationships, inclusion and a trauma-informed approach.

6. Can create a safe, nurturing and purposeful learning environment.

7. Is enthusiastic about developing pupils' independence, confidence and practical skills.

8. Enjoys working collaboratively and is committed to their own professional development.

Experience of working in alternative provision or with pupils with SEMH needs would be welcomed, but is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates who bring enthusiasm, creativity, relevant industry experience and a genuine commitment to inclusive education.
