What the school offers its staff

We are looking to appoint an exceptional and inspirational teacher of Food Technology to join our highly successful cross-campus Design and Technology department. This is a very rare and exciting opportunity to join an already high-performing subject area and to support the vision for excellence being developed by our D&T team.

This post would suit a colleague in the early stages of their career who is looking for a role that goes beyond the traditional teaching post. The Twynham School and TGS federation is now firmly established in Christchurch and there really is unlimited potential for our organisation to deliver a truly exceptional vision for young people across the town. The opportunity to be part of the team at the early stages of this development is unique and would offer unrivalled career development for an aspirational colleague.

The Grange School is thriving with both students and staff motivated by the “good” Ofsted judgement in December 2021 and momentum is building towards an exciting vision for the school. The school benefits from a wonderful mix of both experienced colleagues and several ECTs all of whom have been energised by our new, dynamic Head of School.

This is a truly exceptional opportunity for a talented and ambitious colleague.

We can offer you:

  • The chance to be a part of an exciting educational journey
  • The opportunity to work with exceptional colleagues and young people and their families
  • An exceptional CPD offer from ECT through to senior and system leadership
  • Strong and supportive leadership, who place value on learning beyond the classroom
  • The opportunity to work within Twynham Learning; a progressive multi-academy trust
  • The opportunity to work in one of the most beautiful areas of the South Coast
