Upper Batley High School was identified as a Beacon School in the Northern Challenge report due to the excellent progress our disadvantaged learners make. We also hold the Gold Award for Mental Health & Wellbeing, the PSHCE Charter Mark, the Careers Quality Standard and we are a lead school within the Kirklees Careers Hub. We are one of only a few schools in the UK to achieve 100% in all Gatsby benchmarks. Ofsted identified our careers programme as a “real strength of the school” and we are in the top 14% of all schools nationally.

We are seeking to appoint an innovative Teacher of French and Spanish to join our successful and hardworking team.  The successful applicant will be learner centred and a collaborative practitioner. The post offers excellent opportunities for a committed teacher with good knowledge of the GCSE syllabus to teach French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4.
