What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors of St Edmund Arrowsmith Catholic High School are seeking to appoint aT eacher of Geography who has the capacity to enthuse, engage and inspire our young people through strong subject knowledge and engaging teaching across the KS3 and KS4 curriculum; someone who thrives on collaboration and teamwork; a committed professional with high levels of personal motivation and ambition.

In essence, someone who really wants to make a difference.

We welcome applications from teachers who will inspire our pupils throughout the 11– 16 age range, instilling them with confidence to reach their potential in the subject.

Our Humanities Department provides pupils with an extremely well-resourced and enjoyable experience of all aspects of Geography. There are 3 dedicated classrooms where pupils are encouraged to explore their interest in the world around them. Geography is a very successful department and is consistently the most popular options choice for pupils at GCSE. collaborative planning and learning consistently drive results and create a positive, engaging learning environment for our amazing students.

We offer a bespoke CPL programme, research and development, links and networks with other outstanding schools as well as a plethora of extra-curricular and cross-curricular working opportunities.
