Teacher of Geography job summary

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join our dedicated team at Abraham Moss Community School, Crescent Road, Crumpsall, Manchester, M8 5UF.

The core purpose of the role will be to Teach Geography throughout the school, working as a member of the Humanities team under the direction of the Subject Leader teaching KSs 3 and 4.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake appropriate pastoral and tutorial roles including being a tutor / partner tutor and teaching PSHE
• Share in the general responsibility for the academic, social, personal and cultural development of pupils
• Take responsibility for relevant organisational and administrative tasks related to your work and carry out tasks efficiently and within the deadlines set.
• To plan teaching to achieve progression in pupils’ learning
