We are looking to appoint an inspirational Teacher of Geography with a passion for accelerating progress within our Humanities department. You will have the ability to teach Geography across the full age and ability range and will be able to enthuse, engage and motivate our students to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting time to join our journey of improvement and play a key part in transforming the lives of our young people.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a committed team player;
  • Have the ability to engage and inspire pupils and build excellent relationships;
  • Be committed to Felixstowe School's ethos;
  • Be passionate and ambitious about their own career development.

We are looking for a teacher who loves their subject, loves field work, focuses on literacy as well as extended writing and is a creative thinker and not afraid to try new things.

What the school offers its staff

You will join a friendly and welcoming faculty which is forward thinking, innovative and passionate about their teaching. Geography is a much-valued subject within Felixstowe School. We are looking for a driven individual who will inspire our students to take the subject at GCSE and A-Level in Felixstowe School and become more confident and curious in their learning.

You will be joining a faculty of equally committed colleagues who are determined to raise standards, generate real student interest in Geography and ensure students enjoy their learning.

Applications are warmly encouraged from Early Career Teachers, for whom excellent facilities and support exists.
