We are looking for a Teacher of Geography to join our team here at City of Peterborough Academy!

We are looking for a committed Teacher of Geography who can deliver engaging lessons, encourage curiosity and help our students develop a greater understanding of the world around them.
As a Teacher of Geography, you will:
- Teach across the relevant key stages, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs and abilities of our students.
- Bring Geography to life, encouraging students to explore physical and human geography and make connections with the world around them.
- Monitor, assess and support student progress, providing constructive feedback that helps every learner achieve their potential.
- Set high expectations for learning, behaviour and achievement, creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share effective teaching practice.
- Support the wider life of the Academy, contributing to our positive school community and helping our young people thrive.
- Promote a love of learning, encouraging students to become curious, confident and independent learners.

The City of Peterborough Academy was opened in September 2013 by Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT) after a £13.8m capital build. Based on Reeves Way in Peterborough, the academy has quickly grown from strength to strength. A dedicated team of staff aim to help support every child in reaching their full potential.
