Hours of work: 40%, Maternity Cover, Fixed Term until 31st December 2025.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography and Ethics to join our wonderful community. We have a large and supportive Humanities team here, which is well resourced and part of the Meridian Trust which provides a huge subject network for professional development.

The ideal candidate

Qualified Teacher Status and degree in specialist subject
Experience of teaching at KS3 to KS4
Evidence of securing high outcomes from students
Ability to use IT to support effective teaching and learning
Commitment to continuing professional development
Effective form tutoring and committed to the importance of pastoral support
Understand and be a proud advocate of the five values of all Meridian Trust schools
Believe that students make the best progress when teaching is well planned and well delivered
