Teacher of Geography job summary

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Geography to join our vibrant and supportive Humanities Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and foster a deep interest in the world around them.
The successful candidate will:
- Teach Geography across all Key Stages.
- Deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that bring the subject to life.
- Support the department’s commitment to academic excellence and developing global awareness.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including fieldwork and enrichment activities.
We are particularly interested in applicants who:
- Have a strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Geography.
- Are enthusiastic about developing extracurricular opportunities — an interest in supporting the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme would be a distinct advantage.
- Encourage student membership of and engagement with Geographical Associations to deepen understanding and broaden horizons.
