Teacher of Geography job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to take up a key post within the Geography curriculum area, supporting the subject leader in realising the potential of all students across the faculty.
Applications are welcome from NQTs or more experienced colleagues and the ability to teach history would be an advantage. A supportive induction programme is in place for all new staff.
The successful candidate will need:
To be an excellent Geography practitioner with the ability to teach across Key Stage 3, 4 and 5
To be able to model effective teaching and learning strategies
To be ambitious in raising attainment across all key stages
To be able to make a positive contribution to the department
