Post: Teacher of Geography (must be willing to offer KS3 History in addition)
Location: Stocksbridge High School
Pay scale: Teacher’s Pay Range MPR/UPR
Contract: Temporary for 1 year, Part time (0.7 FTE)
Start date: September 2021 - August 2022

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography, with the willingness to teach Key Stage 3 History in addition.
Purpose of the job;
To implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated
curriculum for students and to support a designated curriculum area as appropriate.
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and
group tutor
To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity
to achieve their individual potential.
To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and outcomes.
To share and support the school and Trust’s ethos and culture toward providing and monitoring opportunities for personal and academic growth.
The closing date is 9am on Monday 10 May 2021, and interviews will take place on
Thursday 13 May 2021.
