Teacher of Geography job summary
Required from September 2020. This post is suitable for either an NQT or a more experienced teacher.
Due to the continuing growth of our VI Form and the expansion in lower school numbers we are seeking to appoint a high quality, enthusiastic and ambitious Geography specialist to join our dedicated and successful department. You will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range. Geography is a highly popular option for students and the department has a proven track record in pupil achievement at both GCSE and A level. You will enjoy working with our motivated, well-behaved pupils and with a supportive and hard-working staff in this over-subscribed 11 - 18 mixed comprehensive school.
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to enthuse and motivate students. A strong team player, self-motivated and committed to continuing professional development.
