What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for a creative professional who is keen to contribute and develop innovative ideas for teaching and learning and be committed to the College’s extra-curricular timetable. Physical Education and extracurricular Sport are high profile at the College and are an integral part of the curriculum offer, as a result we have very high levels of engagement from students in both PE lessons and extracurricular clubs. The college has recently appointed a Sports Development Officer to support the PE department to fulfil its vision to promote sporting excellence and lifelong opportunities for all.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with a keen interest in encouraging and inspiring students and who can enable them to flourish. The person appointed will have the opportunity to teach across the age and ability range up to and including Key Stage 5. This position would suit either an experienced teacher or an exceptional ECT.
