What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking applications for a Teacher of Girls’ PE who is an excellent practitioner, hardworking, has initiative, good communication skills and the drive and ambition to deliver outstanding provision. We have an extensive extra-curricular programme which they will contribute to. There is potential for some leadership responsibility within the department for an appropriately experienced candidate.
What the school offers its staff
We are a highly successful, community mixed comprehensive school with a focus on staff development, we are a member of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Teaching School Hub and run a comprehensive ECT programming following the Early Careers Framework. The school is in a pleasant rural setting only 5 miles from the centre of Cambridge. We currently have around 1800 11-18 pupils on roll including our sixth form centre that opened in September 2011. We are looking to appoint someone who is passionate about Physical Education, the health and well-being of young people and who will contribute to the outstanding teaching and learning within the PE department.

Our PE team offer a wide range of courses including GCSE PE, A Level PE, BTEC Sport Level 2 and 3, and Sports Leaders’ Award.
