What skills and experience we're looking for

Applications are invited from committed and passionate specialists, who are excited by the opportunity of joining our thriving Catholic community. This post would suit both an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to secure a supportive school with which to start their ECT induction.

The school offers a range of qualifications in these two subjects across Key Stages 4 & 5: BTEC Level 2 Tech Awards in Health & Social Care and Child Development, as well as AAQs in Health & Social Care and Early Childhood Studies. Student engagement across all key stages and qualifications offered by the department is exceptional. As such, the department consistently ensures that our students achieve excellent results which has, in turn, been a positive contributing factor to the extremely successful whole school outcomes that the pupils of St John’s have achieved in recent years.
