Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are looking for a dynamic, inspirational teacher to join our successful Humanities Faculty from September 2022. There is also the potential of a TLR 2b available for the right candidate to take on the leadership of our PSHE programme.

The ideal candidate will:
• Be an excellent Humanities Practitioner;
• Have the ability to engage, inspire and build excellent relationships with both students and staff;
• Be a committed team player;
• Be passionate and ambitious about their own career development.

The right candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3 and KS4, and will be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher, who can share their expertise and love of their subject, and teach lessons which challenge and inspire their students. The ability to deliver additional humanities subjects would also be an advantage. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
