What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and ambitious teacher of History with qualified teacher status to join a successful team.
The Humanities Faculty is an extremely successful and innovative team of specialist staff teaching the subjects within it. These include: History, Geography, Religious Studies across all year groups; Business Studies at KS4 and 5; and Sociology, Politics and Economics at KS5. The subjects are extremely popular among students at KS3 and, as a result, there are multiple classes at GCSE and A Level and we have a strong record of examination success. Our History team constantly contributes towards pedagogical improvements across the school and they strive to offer students an engaging curriculum. This is complemented by a strong extra-curricular provision and annual trips.
