What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity to join the team at Oasis Academy Sholing

Revolution, renaissance, or restoration. Whatever your favourite historical events or periods, help us amaze and enthuse our students. Join our growing department and deliver astounding lessons where history thrives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher looking to make a difference to the lives of young people. You will join a friendly and supportive team which strives to ensure that all students enjoy their learning and surpass expectations of achievement. If you wish to grow professionally, join us, and become part of the team developing an outstanding academy.

The role and what we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who can ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for history students, across the key stages, and who is fully on board with the academy vision to support our Head of History. Someone who will set high expectations for teaching and learning, inspire students to love learning, and challenge our students to think in new ways.
