What skills and experience we're looking for
Required from January 2023 - Teacher of History [Maternity Cover]
Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and committed History teacher to join our successful Humanities Faculty from January 2023 on a temporary maternity cover. The ideal candidate will:
• Be an excellent History Practitioner;
• Have the ability to engage, inspire and build excellent relationships with both students and staff;
• Be a committed team player;
• The right candidate will be able to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3 and KS4, and will be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic teacher, who can share their expertise and love of their subject, and teach lessons which challenge and inspire their students.
The ability to deliver additional humanities subjects would also be an advantage. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
