Richard Rose Central Academy is based in the heart of the beautiful border city of Carlisle on the edge of the Lake District. We provide high quality education to 11–18-year-olds from across the city.

The Role

We are seeking to recruit a professional and talented Teacher of History. This would be on a permanent basis starting from September 2023.

About You

You're an inspirational practitioner, knowledgeable regarding the curriculum, and an exemplary pedagogy practitioner. Pro-active, flexible and enthusiastic, you bring the innovation and commitment to teach History across KS3, KS4, and KS5. Keeping your subject exciting, relevant and enjoyable, you'll create an ambitious, innovative and motivating classroom. You'll inspire and challenge your students so that they develop into highly effective, independent learners and achieve their individual potential.
