This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified History teacher to be appointed within a highly successful department, from Easter 2020. The position is a part-time (0.6 f.t.e.) maternity cover for one term in the first instance (to August 2020) but there is a possibility of a further period.
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative teacher who can teach history up to A Level and who will inspire students of all ages and abilities.

Essential educational requirements
Graduate in history or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status or the ability to achieve this under current Department for Education Regulations.
Essential skills and experience
Secondary school experience teaching history across a range of ages and abilities (can include teaching practice experience).
Evidence of willingness to learn and develop professionally.
