- Qualified Teacher Status
- the ability to deliver high quality lessons that motivate students, achieve excellent results and where the progress journey is accelerated
- excellent organisational and ICT skills
- excellent subject knowledge and the ability to contribute creatively to our curriculum design particularly at KS3
- the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
- a passion for History and the ability to share this and inspire with young people
- a commitment to developing in role through proactive engagement with CPD and own learning

The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic co-educational 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. There has been significant investment in the refurbishment and redesign of our school environment including fully refurbished classrooms, as well as further radical redevelopment throughout the school. We are seeking to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our highly successful and progressive History team. You will be joining a forward thinking and highly motivated team who are always looking for ways to innovate and excite students and who are committed to expediting progress for all learners.
