What skills and experience we're looking for

Students must leave education valuing the significance of our collective History, understanding how past events have shaped the society in which we live today. History is a universally well-respected subject that allows students to receive a holistic historical education that teaches compassion, sensitivity and respect towards others.

We have a new opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Teacher of History who is innovative and inspiring with the ability to teach a curriculum that is authentic, connected to our community and engages our students. This is an exciting role for a highly motivated person who has a confident understanding of the History curriculum, is passionate about their subject and will inspire all students to share their enthusiasm for History. Alongside this an interest in Politics at Key Stage 5 would be desirable, although not essential.
