What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you a teacher with the intrinsic motivation to make a difference to our children’s whole lives?
If so, we would love to show you around our warm and friendly village school. We aim to provide a caring environment for all of our pupils, with a wide range of learning opportunities to help them grow into independent and responsible people. We are interested in helping developing children both academically and morally. We are very proud of our pupils’ achievements and we are looking for a candidate who can continue to fill our pupils with a sense of pride and self worth.
We are a school in the heart of rural Northamptonshire and are part of a wider family of schools that together form Evolve Church Academy Trust. Culworth Primary Academy has an excellent academic reputation and plays a key part in local village life. Our parents are caring and supportive and our children are wonderful. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated full time teacher who would like to work closely within a supportive staff team, to teach a KS1 mixed age class. This would be a great opportunity for an ECT or a teacher in the early stages of their career, as there is scope for development within our supportive Trust.
Essential skills include
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Willingness to lead and develop subjects within our small school
- Be a dynamic practitioner with clear understanding of teaching requirements
- Ability to develop strong relationships with parents and our wider community
- Desire to go over and above to help our children succeed and reach their potential
What the school offers its staff
- A supportive, friendly staff team
- Inquisitive children
- A nurturing work environment with plenty of opportunities for CPD
- A device to help your planning, preparation and assessment.
- A feedback policy that focuses on providing children with a dialogue to support improvement – not onerous marking!
- We warmly welcome visits from applicants prior to the closing date.
