Further details about the role

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic, dedicated teacher to join our hardworking and friendly school. This is a full time, temporary position in the first instance, with the potential to become permanent, starting January 2024. We welcome part time applications as a potential job share.

The school was inspected in November 2019 and received a ‘Good’ rating. We currently follow a knowledge-rich curriculum but are seeking to develop this in line with infant curriculum. We have clear, successful behaviour management approaches to ensure calm, orderly classrooms.

Hartford Junior School was judged to be ‘Good’ by Ofsted in November 2019 , and we have worked tirelessly to improve since then. Our two-form entry Junior School educates 240 pupils in Key Stage 2 using a knowledge-rich curriculum. Each year group contains 2 classes, so planning can be shared and supported.
