What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Qualified Teacher status (by employment start date) with the ability to teach History/RE/Geography
  • Knowledge and understanding of the requirements of the National Curriculum
  • Knowledge and understanding of the learning process
  • Experience of delivering a Humanity subject at KS3 and KS4
  • Evidence of creative and imaginative approaches to teaching and learning
  • Excellent classroom practitioner with success in teaching History/ RE/Geography
  • Ability to use e-learning in the classroom to achieve improvement
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and pay attention to detail
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage students effectively
  • Ability to see tasks through to a successful conclusion
  • Good organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of Key Stage 3 Humanities, to join our dynamic team. You would be joining outstanding departments, with proven results and an excellent ethos towards teaching and learning. We require a dedicated and inspiring teacher who can enthuse our students. You will need to be able to work in a large team, deliver lessons that stretch and challenge and most importantly hold an unconditional positive regard for the students. This teaching post is suitable for ECTs and also more experienced colleagues
