We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of KS5 Mathematics to join our team.
The successful candidate will teach A-Level Mathematics, Core Maths, and Year 12 Resit classes. Our sixth form is vibrant and ambitious, with many students progressing to universities to pursue mathematics and related subjects. We are looking for a teacher who can inspire, motivate, and guide our students as they take their next steps along mathematical pathways.
You will join our team in motivating and supporting our students to ensure outstanding attainment. The Maths Department is an innovative, experienced and collaborative team who strive to guide our students towards their goals. You will be joining a well-organised, supportive team of professionals.

The department is well resourced, and staff are committed and hard-working. The teacher of this post would have the opportunity to deliver A-level qualifications in Maths and Further Maths to groups of sixth form students studying the AQA syllabus. Ideally, candidates would have experience delivering either these qualifications or similar qualifications. Delivering small group interventions are also part of this role.
This job role would suit someone who enjoys getting students to think independently, pushing them beyond the requirements of the GCSE syllabus in order to broaden and challenge their knowledge of Maths Fostering ideas of curiosity and questioning. St Peter’s prides itself in the professional development available to staff, we have had a number of staff complete a wide range of courses including NPQML, enhancement courses and training with exam board providers as well as in house training.
